Payzone PLC sells the Dutch arm of its electronic payment services and terminals to CCV

With over 45,000 automated teller machines, Payzone Plc (LSE: PAYZ) is one of the leading providers of electronic payment services in Europe. The company has sold its subsidiary Payzone Benelux B.V., the full-service Dutch supplier of electronic payment systems, to Fibad B.V.

Having previously sold its mobile top-up/loyalty services arm (PPC) in September 2009, Payzone no longer has any operational activities in the Netherlands. It now intends focusing on core-business activities.

Fibad B.V. is a subsidiary of Van de Velden Holding B.V., which is itself a member of CCV, a major supplier of automated teller machines and a specialist in systems geared to European electronic payment transactions.

Payzone was represented by Ferdinand Mason, Joel Erwteman, Bastiaan Kout and Tim Carapiet.
